Safeguarding notice
Last updated 6 September 2026
Safeguarding is a practice, not a page. This notice summarises how we prevent harm and respond to concerns.
Scope
Dear Us serves adults. We do not provide services to minors at launch, and we do not provide clinical care of any kind.
People and process
A named clinical reviewer oversees programme content, safety resources, and provider verification. Facilitators are trained on boundaries and escalation. Concerns are recorded with the minimum necessary facts in a restricted register visible only to the clinical reviewer and super administrator.
Raising a concern
Participants can raise a concern through our reporting form, which clearly states it is not an emergency channel. High-severity concerns alert the clinical reviewer immediately, and every confirmed failure must have a corrective action with a deadline.
This is a draft prepared for review. It requires approval by a qualified legal adviser before public launch.
