Community rules
Last updated 6 September 2026
Dear Us spaces — cohorts, sessions, events, membership — work because people feel safe in them. These rules protect that.
Confidentiality
What is shared in a session stays in the session. Never repeat, screenshot, or record another participant's story. Programme discussions are never recorded by us either.
Respect and boundaries
Speak from your own experience; don't diagnose, advise on medication, or pressure others to share. Harassment, hate speech, and unsolicited proselytising are grounds for removal.
Crisis situations
If someone appears at risk during a session, facilitators follow a documented safety procedure and share verified crisis contacts. Dear Us sessions are not a crisis service.
Enforcement
Facilitators may remove a participant to protect the group. Serious concerns go to our clinical reviewer through a restricted safeguarding process.
